  • GSMA will bring the most significant leaders of the Telco industry who are part of the "Innovation Leadership Group," including 25 mobile operators, 10 of which do not have presence in Silicon Valley
  • Participants will include mobile operator innovation leadership and c-suite executives representing innovation programs, M&A, corporate venture funds and product teams.

Why Now?

  • Rakuten just launched the first cloud-native telecommunications network in January, which has driven a blueprint of the future of telecommunications, especially for the global enterprise.
  • In the US, large scale enterprises like Amazon and FedEx are trialing private network systems.
  • With the DoJ requiring Dish to become the 4th mobile operator in the US, Dish will likely look to these new greenfield cloud-native telecommunications infrastructure models.
