Please join us for our upcoming CXO Insight Call: "CXOs and GenAI - An Investor Perspective on the Technology Breakdown," taking place the morning of Tuesday, October 31st, from 10-11am PT. We look forward to hosting Vijay Reddy, Partner at Mayfield Fund and Isaac Sacolick, Founder and President at StarCIO, who will speak from an investor and practitioner's perspective on the generational opportunity and ongoing adoption of generative AI, which is driving a new AI-first enterprise IT stack.

Mayfield is deeply engaged in the space, and Vijay is our new lead investor for our AI dedicated fund, AI Start. He will share the primary segments that comprise the opportunity, the best practices he's seeing, breakout technologies, and how CXOs can leverage these forward-looking insights. He will be supported by Isaac, who brings extensive CIO leadership and transformational advisory work. He will share insights and learnings plus some management rubrics and guidelines for CIOs and other IT leaders to build from.

Vijay brings over a decade of inception and early-stage investing experience in AI and deeptech, from Clear Ventures and Intel Capital. He had a front-row seat to the rise of AI when neural networks first beat human benchmarks in vision, speech and language. Vijay has invested across the AI stack from silicon, systems, infrastructure software, data, middleware & tools and applications. Some of his past investments include Avaamo, AEye (Nasdaq: LIDR), BabbleLabs (Acquired by Cisco), Common Sense Machines, DataRobot, Hypersonix, Joby (NYSE: Joby), Landing.ai, Lilt, Opaque, and SambaNova.

As a former R&D engineer, Vijay enjoys collaborating with leading technical innovators and researchers who are leveraging bold, disruptive ideas with extreme clarity of purpose to build best in class companies. He takes a founder-first and team-oriented approach and works tirelessly with inception stage entrepreneurs to achieve product market fit and help them scale rapidly.

Vijay began his career as an entrepreneur when he co-founded his first startup after dropping out of his PhD program. He has also held several senior Business Development and Product Development roles at Broadcom and Intel where he was hired into the Accelerated Leadership Program, designed to groom the next generation of leaders.

A Kauffman Fellow, Vijay received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has a BS & MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering with top honors from University of California, Irvine.
